I think I grew as a reader in many ways. I grew in my pace as a reader, I was able to read longer books and take my time to analyze and understand the books. This year in class we read Lord of the Flies, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, and Purple Hibiscus. These books improved my reading in many ways. They helped he understand new words, different styles of reading, and different stories authors made.
Outside of class I read Cinder, Drew Brees: Coming Back Stronger, The Blind Side, and many other sports books. I read sports books because I enjoy those the most. I need to start reading other genres though, I cant just read sports books all the time because I won't learn anything new.
