- Reflect on your writing center experience(s) in the second semester, whether you visited for the research paper, your portfolio work, or both. What was the focus of your meeting, and how did you use this meeting to move the piece forward?
I went to the writing center for my Portfolio to get my Personal Narrative revised. I met with a great writing fellow. We looked at the run-on sentences I had, the amount of details I had, and the more information I needed. I enjoy the writing center. I like meeting with different people to see how they each view my work. I get very helpful tips from them, and they showed me what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing well. I implemented the things she taught me into my work and I think it turned out well. Next year I will definitely use the writing center more. I feel like they can really help my papers and work by providing good feedback.
